Changing your relationship to money will not happen overnight. Rather it begins more like walking down a path. Your current experience of the path is filled with the thorns of fear and the terrain is rough. Many people spend their whole lives walking this path with money. They live in lack, limitation and scarcity. I have spent the better part of my life in the fear of loosing everything and ending up like a bag lady. What did I spend my hard earned money on? Ironically, I was addicted to Handbags. Everywhere I turned the road appeared filled with the hills and deep valleys of painful money beliefs. Along the path I would see others wounded and afraid, in fear that they won’t have enough. Really all the pain I witnessed was the mirror of my own. The sight of these weary casualties began to lead me to believe there is no hope to change the circumstances. From a place of fear, there was no hope. I am begining to uncover that from a place of Love there is HOPE.
There is another path, one that can lead us all out of our collective money misery, out of scarcity and into sufficiency. For those who choose to take a new path, the change doesn’t come over night. Steadily as they progress further and further, the conditions will become more prosperous. The chains of fear which directed our actions become loose and eventually fall off. We will begin to experience the rich joy which lies deep in a life of sufficiency.
How will you find this path? Simply open your eyes. Awake we begin to take steps in the direction of sufficiency. Though you may have never known the path was there, it always was and always will be. It welcomes you, however tired you may be from the misery off scarcity. It guides you along, though you may not know the way, as tiny sign posts arise at each bend telling you that you are going the right way.
You begin this journey the minute you decide to. Choice is all it takes. Once you choose, you will find the will to do what is being called for. Learning, Experiencing and teaching the path to those who are suffering too. As you progress, one day you will discover you have come out of your misery with money. Arriving to the edge of the forest of scarcity, to find the bright sun shining down on a field of sufficiency, like endless rows of tulips blooming magnificence all throughout your life.
